Data controller

As required by Regulation EU 2016/679 (the “Regulation”), we inform you that your Personal Data will be processed by Quercetti & C SpA, headquartered at Corso Vigevano, 25 - 10152 Turin, as the Data Controller (“Controller”).

Types of data processed

The Data Controller will process the personal data (Art. 4(1) of the Regulation). The personal data includes but is not limited to your name, surname, mobile phone number and data belonging to specific categories (Art.9(1) of the Regulation), including but not limited to data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, membership of political parties, membership of trade unions or of religious and philosophical associations or organisations, state of health (for example, membership of “protected” categories).

The data collected during the selection process, and data provided by you may also relate to your family members.

Purposes, legal basis and purpose of the data processing

Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of recruiting and evaluating candidates in relation to a potential contract of employment or collaboration with us.

The legal basis of the processing for these purposes is: the execution of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) of the Regulation), express consent to the processing of data in specific categories (Art. 9(2)(a) of the Regulation), the Controller’s legitimate interest in verifying the candidate’s suitability for a specific role (Art. 6(1)(f) of the Regulation).

The processing of special data may take place in accordance with Art. 9.2.a) of the Regulation, but only with express consent, and in accordance with current authorisations relating to the protection of personal data. In this regard, unless strictly necessary we ask that you do not provide this type of information; if you do decide to provide it, you will be asked to provide specific consent in accordance with current data protection laws. If you do not provide consent to the processing of special data, if you do provide this type of data it may not be considered for the purposes of your application for the role.

The provision of your Personal Data for the above purposes is optional, but if you do not provide it, it will not be possible for us to evaluate your professional qualifications correctly.

Recipients of personal data

Your Personal Data may be shared with:

  • natural persons authorised by the Controller, upon signature of a confidentiality agreement (e.g. employees of the Personnel/Administration department, system administrators);

The Data Controller will not transfer your personal data outside of the European Economic Area.

Conservation of the personal data

Your personal data will be stored for a period of 12 months. The foregoing is subject to any further conservation of the data which may be required under the applicable laws, including the provisions of Article 2946 of the Italian civil code. Further information is available from the Controller.

Your privacy rights (Articles 15 et seq of the Regulation)

You may at any time ask the Controller for access to your data, or for its rectification or erasure, or you may object to the data processing or request limitation of the data processing in those cases provided for in Article 18 of the Regulation, and you may obtain the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format in those cases provided for in Art. 20 of the Regulation.

The requests should be addressed to the Controller in writing, at the following address privacy@quercetti.it.

In any case, the data subject may at any time make a complaint to the Data Protection Authority in accordance with Article 77 of the Regulation, if he or she considers that his or her personal data has been processed in breach of the current laws.

You may at any time, under Art. 7(3) of the Regulation, revoke consent already given, without affecting the legality of any data processing carried out prior to revocation.

Please note that you may remove any sensitive data from your CV, as you are under no obligation to provide it. However, if you do consider it necessary for the purposes of your application, you must consent to the use of such data, otherwise we will be unable to process it.
